CHAMAN:Chaman police claimed to have seized 2kg heroin, 50 gram ice and one American M4 machine gun in an operation conducted in Turpull area of Chaman city of Balochistan province on Thursday.

One alleged accused was also arrested during the operation. Addressing a press conference in his office, Muhammad Naeem Achakzai, District Police Officer, Chaman said that during routine checking at Turpull area of Chaman, 2 kilo heroin, 50 gram ice and one American M4 machine gun were recovered from the hidden cavities of Hilux Surf vehicle in Turpull area of Chaman, a bordering city with Afghanistan. One alleged accused namely Abdul Hae was also arrested during the operation.

He said that First Information Report (FIR) against the alleged accused had been lodged at Police Station, Chaman. In reply to a question, Muhammad Naeem Achakzai, District Police Officer, Chaman said that it was being investigated as to where the alleged accused intended to smuggle weapon and drugs. He said that further investigation was being conducted by the Investigation Staff of Police Station, Chaman.
