Ceremonies Held Nationwide to Commemorate One Year of Marka-e-Haq

Lahore: Ceremonies in connection with the commemoration of Marka-e-Haq were held at Yadgar-e-Shuhada in the provincial capitals, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Azad Jammu and Kashmir. A graceful ceremony marking the first commemoration of Marka-e-Haq was held at Yadgar-e-Shuhada in Lahore this morning, attended by the Corps Commander Lahore as the Chief Guest, alongside Provincial Ministers, the Chief Secretary, civil and military authorities, and a large number of citizens. The Corps Commander laid a floral wreath at Yadgar-e-Shuhada and offered fateha, while a contingent of the Pakistan Army presented a guard of honor. The ceremony concluded with special prayers for the security and stability of the country and the elevation of the ranks of the martyrs.

According to Radio Pakistan, an impressive ceremony was held at the Headquarters of Pakistan Rangers Sindh in Karachi on the one-year completion of Marka-e-Haq. Officers and soldiers participated in the ceremony where the Director General of the Pakistan Rangers Sindh, the Chief Guest, laid a floral wreath at Yadgar-e-Shuhada and offered Fateha. The ceremony included a special message from the Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces, paying tribute to the sacrifices of the martyrs.

In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, an impressive ceremony was organized at Yadgar-e-Shuhada in Peshawar. The Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Corps Commander Peshawar participated, laying a floral wreath and offering fateha. The ceremony was attended by civil and military officers and students, with tributes paid to the martyrs. Prayers were offered for the martyrs' ranks, and messages from military leaders were read.

In Quetta, Balochistan, a ceremony marked the victory in Marka-e-Haq. The Governor, Chief Minister, and Corps Commander laid wreaths and offered fateha. The event saw attendance from senior civil and military officials, including the Speaker of the Balochistan Assembly and provincial ministers. Delegations from friendly countries also paid tribute.

In Muzaffarabad, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, a ceremony took place with the Acting President as Chief Guest, who laid a wreath and offered fateha. In Gilgit Baltistan, the commemoration was held in Gilgit with the Caretaker Chief Minister as Chief Guest, who presented a salute, laid a wreath, and offered prayers for the martyrs and the country's prosperity.
