Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar has vowed to address the issues related to the provision of clean drinking water in Balochistan on priority basis.
He was chairing a meeting in Quetta today to review the projects pertaining to the irrigation and water supply in Balochistan.
Speaking on the occasion, he said Balochistan has enormous potential in agriculture which has not been fully exploited.
Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar said Inter-provincial reservations on the issue of irrigation will be removed in order to strengthen the federation and accelerate the progress of country.
He was given a detailed briefing about the ongoing irrigation projects of the province including Awaran Dam, Gishkor Dam, Winder Dam, Kachi Canal, Pat feeder Canal and so forth.
The Prime Minister expressed resolve to provide all possible support in the completion of these projects despite the difficult economic situation of country.
