QUETTA: Balochistan Provincial Assembly and MPA Hostel Officers Welfare Association and Balochistan Provincial Assembly Staff Association will boycott official business from September 19, 2022 for acceptance of seven points demands.
Addressing a press conference at Balochistan Provincial Assembly Secretariat here on Thursday, Zafar Rind, representative Balochistan Provincial Assembly and MPA Hostel Officers Welfare Association and Balochistan Provincial Assembly Staff Association said that employees of Balochistan Provincial Assembly were continuously being ignored.
He demanded of the authorities to reconstruct Masjid of Balochistan Provincial Assembly, initiate action against those who did not adhere to the decisions of the committee, grant approval for allotment of land for construction of Housing Schemes for the officers and officials of Balochistan Provincial Assembly on the pattern of Balochistan Civil Secretariat, Quetta, make laws for adjustment of the heirs of government employees who died while in service.
He said if the demands of Balochistan Provincial Assembly and MPA Hostel Officers Welfare Association and Balochistan Provincial Assembly Staff Association, already submitted to the authorities for consideration, were not accepted, complete boycott of official business would be started from September 19, 2022.
