QUETTA: Sain Safiulllah Khan Kakar, Provincial leader Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Balochistan, Saturday called on the authorities to provide essential goods to the rain-affected families of Akhtar Muhammad Jamia Masjid near Moulana Niaz Muhammad Durrani madrassa Pushtunabad, Quetta.

 

In a statement, he said that Saturday’s rain badly damaged several residential homes in Akhtar Muhammad Jamia Masjid near Moulana Niaz Muhammad Durrani madrassa, Pushtunabad, Quetta, leaving residents of area shelterless. He added that authorities of PDMA, Quetta were intimidated, but so far no one had bothered inspected the rain affected areas.

 

He called on Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo, Chief Secretary Balochistan, Abdul Aziz Uqaili, Additional Chief Secretary (Home), Muhammad Hashim Khan Ghilzai, Director General, PDMA, Naseer Nasar and other concerned authorities to provide tents, blankets, edible items and other essential commodities to the rain affected families of Akhtar Muhammad Jamia Masjid near Moulana Niaz Muhammad Durrani madrassa, Pushtunabad, Quetta and its adjoining areas forthwith.
