QUETTA:Anjuman Tajiran, has demanded of the authorities to issue new price list of daily commodities, including bread, otherwise protest would be staged.
This demand was made by Rahim Agha, President, Anjuman-e-Tajiran, Balochistan while addressing a press conference at Quetta Press Club here on Sunday. He said (Nanbae) bakers of Quetta had been demanding for fixing of new rate of bread owing to spike in the price of flour, but District administration was paying no heed to the legitimate demand of nanbaes.
He said instead of fixing Rs. 30 the rate 180 gram bread, district administration started arresting bakers. He said new rate of bread fixed by the district administration Quetta was not acceptable to the bakers (Nanbae).
Expressing sympathy with the bereaved family members of Mastung’s blast, he demanded of the authorities to adopt measures in order to thwart the occurrence of such incidents. Demanding the authorities to issue new price list of daily commodities, including bread, he said that if demands of nanbaes of Quetta were not addressed, protest movement would be launched, including closure of all tandoors.
