Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir Affairs Qamar Zaman Kaira has said all political parties want to hold general elections as soon as possible.

Talking to a private news channel, he said bringing electoral reforms is the top most agenda of the present government.

The Special Assistant said the general elections of 2018 were held on the basis of one time constitutional amendment but new elections could not be held on that basis.
