Body of four year old child was retrieved on Friday from the boring pipe of water supply scheme in Anzergai Karez area of Chaman after 33 hours rescue operation.

According to rescue sources, body of a child namely Matiullah, 04, who had fallen into a boring pipe of a water supply scheme in Anzergai Karez area of Chaman, a city bordering neighbouring country Afghanistan, was retrieved after 33 hours rescue operation. Residents of the area said had the rescue teams of Provincial Disaster Management Authority-PDMA, Balochistan reached on time, the boy could have been retrieved alive.
