Senior leader of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F), Senator Kamran Murtaza Advocate, today warned that the arrest of Balochistan National Party Mengal’s chief, Sardar Akhtar Jan Mengal, poses a risk of bloodshed in the province.

Speaking to a private TV channel, Kamran Murtaza stated that the current provincial government is attempting to worsen the situation in the province. He further mentioned that the government does not have a clear plan to resolve this issue.

He appealed to the government to adopt a moderate approach and transfer Dr. Mehrang Baloch, Chairman of the Baloch Solidarity Committee, to his residence. He emphasized that Dr. Mehrang Baloch’s residence should be declared a sub-jail to maintain the sanctity of the home.
