KARACHI:The gold price in Pakistan on Tuesday saw a big decline in line with the developments in the international market.

The price of 24-Karat gold fell by Rs1,100 per tola and Rs943 per 10 grams to reach Rs2,14,200 and Rs1,83,642 respectively.

While the 10 grams of 22 karats gold which is usually used in jewellery making is traded at Rs1,68,338 in the Pakistani market on Tuesday.

The price of the yellow metal lost $9 to settle at $1,922 per ounce in the international market on the second day of the week.

The price of 24 karats of pure silver remained unchanged at Rs2,550 per tola and Rs2,186.21 per 10 grams.
