QUETTA:,,, The meeting of Focal Persons, Balochistan Civil Secretariat Officers Welfare Association, to be held on December 18, 2023 (Monday), would review preparations for protest movement to be launched and devise future course of action for getting the demands of BCSOWA.

It was stated by spokesman for BCSOWA in a statement issued here on Saturday. Statement said that caretaker provincial government had stopped issuing notification for field entry of Balochistan Secretariat Services (BSS) cadre officers while on the other hand illegal adjustments of Balochistan Civil Service (BCS) cadre officers against the posts of BSS cadre were being issued.

He said that share distribution for posting in field between BCS and BSS cadres had been addressed but it was not known as to why notification regarding share distribution between BCS and BSS was not being issued, adding that the induction of Assistant Executive Officer (AEO) cadre officers into BSS and BCS had been declared illegal the Honourable High Court of Balochistan in its decision passed on October 01, 2022, but A.E.O cadre officers were still serving against the posts reserved for BSS cadre officers. He said that posting of junior non cadre grade-18 officer against the post of Director General,Industries (B-20), Balochistan was illegal, adding that posting of junior most Sub Divisional Officer (SDO) against the post of Deputy Secretary (B-18), Public Health Engineering Department, Government of Balochistan was the gift of incumbent provincial government.
