The newly elected President AJK Barrister Sultan Mehmood Chaudhry took the oath of his office today (Wednesday).

Chief Justice AJK Supreme Court Justice Raja Saeed Akram Khan administered the oath to him at a function held at Parade Ground Muzaffarabad this evening.

A smarty turned out contingent of police present guard of honor. National anthems of Pakistan and AJK were played.

Prime Minister AJK Sardar Abdul Qayum Khan, outgoing President Sardar Masood Khan, Chairman Kashmir Committee, Shehryar Khan Afridi, Members AJK Legislative Assembly, political figures, workers of PTI, and high-ranking officials attended the ceremony.
