Lieutenant General Md Faizur Rahman, Quarter Master General of the Bangladesh Army, met with General Sahir Shamshad Mirza, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC), at the Joint Staff Headquarters in Rawalpindi, as per a statement from the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Friday.

The leaders examined the regional security situation and confirmed their commitment to bolstering collaboration in defence and security matters.

General Mirza emphasized the growing strength of Pakistan-Bangladesh ties and suggested fresh opportunities for broadening bilateral defence partnerships.

Lieutenant General Rahman commended the expertise of the Pakistan Armed Forces and recognized their contributions in combating terrorism.
