Balochistan traders stage rally amid shutterdown strike in Quetta

President, Markazi Anjuman-e-Tajiran, Balochistan, Abdul Rahim Kakar, on Wednesday said that tax reforms introduced by the federal government were not acceptable to the trader community of Balochistan.

These views were expressed by him while addressing a protest demonstration held outside Quetta Press Club under the aegis of Markazi Anjuman-e-Tajiran, Balochistan against tax reforms and exorbitant electricity tariff.

He said that traders of the country were observing a shutterdown strike across the country, including Balochistan, against the unjust taxes imposed by the FBR.

Earlier, a protest rally under the aegis of Markazi Anjuman-e-Tajiran, Balochistan was taken out from Masjid Road Shara-e-Iqbal. The participants of rally marched through Masjid Road, Shara-e-Iqbal, Adalat Road and reached Quetta Press Club where a protest demonstration was held.
