The Government of Balochistan has enacted a new security measure, prohibiting the entry of private security personnel carrying weapons, donning uniforms similar to law enforcement, and using vehicles with tinted windows within the Balochistan Civil Secretariat.

A circular from the Services and General Administration Department, dated March 19, 2025, reaffirms a directive issued previously on January 30, 2024. The notice underscores the Home Department’s concern regarding the current law and order situation and the unchecked flow of individuals into the Secretariat’s premises.

Emphasizing the urgency of the matter, the department has mandated the immediate implementation of this ban, aiming to enhance security protocols amidst escalating concerns in the province.
