Balochistan reshuffles two secretaries; Tehsildar dismissed

QUETTA: After general elections across the country, Government of Balochistan has reshuffleed administrative secretaries.

A notification issued by Services and General Administration Department, Government of Balochistan received today says that Arshad Hussain Bugti (B-20), awaiting posting order in SandGAD, has been transferred and posted as Secretary Women Development Department vice Sardar Khan Bughti while Sardar Khan Bugti (20) was transferred and directed to report to Services and General Administration Department.

Meanwhile, the services of Murad Muhammad Marri, presently under transfer as Tehsildar Dera Murad Jamali, have been placed under suspension.

An order issued by Board of Revenue Balochistan says under the provision of Section 6 (1) of Balochistan Employees’ Efficiency and Disciplinary Act 2011 and in compliance of interim order dated 13.02.2024 passed by learned Full-Board, the services of Murad Muhammad Marri are hereby placed under suspension on account of following charges:

That he in the capacity of Tehsildar Settlement Quetta and Kuchlak submitted conflicting reports which led to serious implications in settlement operation of Mouza Karak. These conflicting reports led to an unending controversy.

Initially, creation of ownership title of approximately 4882 acres of land in the name of Deputy Commissioner Quetta in settlement operation conducted under the supervision and attestation by him (in the capacity the then Tehsildar Settlement) followed by an order on reports again generated and submitted by him (in the capacity of the then Tehsildar Kuchlak), resulting in re-titling of the subject land to various individuals through judicial orders.

Despite non-vacation of stay order by the Full-Board on transfer of ownership in Mouza Karak. he in the capacity of Tehsildar Kuchlak dubiously carried out mutation vide mutation No. 320 in manner non customary.
