Leader of Balochistan National Party-Mengal and former MNA Agha Hassan Baloch on Thursday said that enforced disappearance of people was taking place in the country in order to get a legal bill passed from the parliament.

Addressing a press conference at Quetta Press Club with former MPA Ahmed Nawaz, Ghulam Nabi Marri, MPA Jahanzaib Mengal and others, he called on the authorities to ensure the recovery of Senator Qasim Ronjhu and the son of Senator Naseema Ehsan.

He said that Balochistan National Party-Mengal had always raised voice against oppression, adding that those of Islamabad could not understand Balochistan till that day, adding that leader of BNP-Mengal, Sardar Akhtar Jan Mengal was being harassed and that was why he tendered resignation from the membership of National Assembly.

He said that BNP-Mengal was being harassed through death squad for the last two decades. Condemning raid at the lodges of Sardar Akhtar Jan Mengal, he said that apprehensions of Sardar Akhtar Jan Mengal had proved correct.

He said Senator of the party Qasim Runjhu could not be contacted, adding similarly nothing was known about the son of Senator Naseema Ehsan. From the outset, BNP-Mengal was waging democratic struggle for the rights of the people of Balochistan, he remarked.
