Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Saraf Bugti announced the province’s first youth policy on Youth Day, emphasizing the important role of youth in national development. He stated that Pakistan’s population consists of a majority of young people, which reflects the potential for the country’s progress and prosperity. This policy has been included in the Public Sector Development Program (PSDP).

Bugti urged the younger generation to distinguish between truth and falsehood in the current era and advocate for the dissemination of accurate information. He encouraged youth to analyze societal challenges and to seek and share factual data through social media platforms.

The Chief Minister reiterated his commitment to merit-based employment and said that transparent recruitment procedures have been implemented. He also mentioned Balochistan’s first Youth Skills Development Program and termed criticism regarding this initiative as baseless.

Bugti asked the youth to focus on the program’s benefits and participate actively to improve their individual economic well-being and contribute to national foreign exchange earnings.
