QUETTA: Government of Balochistan has dissolved district, tehsil and local zakat committees on expiry of their terms.

A notification issued by the Government of Balochistan, Religious Affairs Department on December 29, 2023, “Consequent upon expiry of all district, tehsil and local zakat committees, they stand dissolved under section 30 (1) of the Balochistan Zakat and Usher Act, 2012 with effect from 29-12-2023 on expiry of their term”.
