Balochistan Customs captures illegal goods supply worth Rs50m

QUETTA:Field Enforcement Unit, Collectorate of Customs Balochistan claimed to have seized goods, including dry fruit, fertiliser and sugar, worth Rs50 million in two different operations conducted in Rakni and Dalbandin areas of Balochistan province on Tuesday.

According to a statement issued by the spokesman for Collectorate of Customs Balochistan, the staff of field enforcement unit, Rakni recovered dry fruits from a truck in an operation conducted in Rakni area of Balochistan province near Balochistan-Punjab border. Similarly, field enforcement unit, Dalbandin seized 800 parcels of fertiliser and 100 parcels of sugar in an operation conducted in Dalbandin area of Balochistan.

The operations were conducted by the staff of field enforcement units, Rakni and field enforcement unit, Dalbandin under the supervision of Incharge, field enforcement unit, Rakni Muhammad Rafique and Incharge, field enforcement unit, Dalbandin, Ali Ahmed Lehri in compliance with the directives of Chief Collector Customs, Balochistan, Abdul Qadir Memon and Collector Customs Enforcement, Muhammad Ismail
