KOHLU: Chief Secretary Balochistan, Mathar Niaz Rana, has said that government was adopting measures to address the problems being faced by the people of different districts of the province.

These views were expressed by him while addressing political, tribal personalities and heads of different line departments of district Kohlu at Levies Line, Kohlu here on Sunday. Rana said that Marri tribe was having a prominent status in the history of Balochistan, adding, “The purpose of my visit to Kohlu is to have meetings with tribal elders of district Kohlu and accordingly get their problems addressed”. He added that peace in district Kohlu was restored owing to the sacrifices rendered by our security forces.

On the occasion, Additional Chief Secretary (Home), Home and Tribal Affairs Department, Muhammad Hashim Ghilzai, Commissioner, Sibbi Division, Balach Aziz, Commissioner, Zhob Division, Shahidullah Khan, Risaldar Major, Levies Force, Kohlu, Shair Muhammad Marri, Tehsildar, Kohlu, Abdul Samad Marri and others were also present. Later, Chief Secretary Balochistan distributed cheques amongst widows and orphans.
