QUETTA:,,, Government of Balochistan has notified time limit to ensure timely release of funds for development schemes from sponsoring departments to executing department/ agencies as well as from executing departments to field offices.

A notification issued by Government of Balochistan, Planning and Development Department on November 15, 2023 says, “In order to ensure timely release of funds for development schemes from sponsoring departments to executing departments/ agencies as well as from executing departments/ agencies to their field offices, the following time limit is hereby prescribed, which shall be complied with in letter and spirit; “Time limit for sponsoring agencies for further release of development funds to the executing agency”, Once the funds of development schemes have been released from Finance Department, the sponsoring agency shall be bound to further release of funds to the executing agency within 10 days time.

“Time limit for executing agency for further release of development funds to the field formations” Once the funds of development schemes have been released from sponsoring agency, the executing agency shall be bound to further release of funds to the field formations within 10 days time for execution of schemes, therefore, undertaking in this respect shall be obtained from concerned Drawing and Disbursing Officer (D.D.O)”.
