Islamabad: Speaker of the National Assembly, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, has said the cooperation among political leaders is essential to address challenges facing the country. He made these remarks while talking to President of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam, Maulana Fazlur Rehman.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Speaker emphasized that strengthening coordination among political parties is in the national interest. He also noted that Pakistan is playing an active role in the evolving situation in the Middle East.

Maulana Fazlur Rehman appreciated the role of Sardar Ayaz Sadiq as the custodian of the National Assembly and acknowledged the importance of Parliament in the current regional context. He also praised Pakistan's role in the Israel-Iran conflict and underscored the need to keep Parliament informed while making important national decisions.
