Prime Minister’s Special Assistant on Interior and Legal Affairs Attaullah Tarar says PTI Chairman Imran Khan’s ‘Jail Bharo Tehreek’ is aimed at seeking judicial immunity in foreign funding and other cases.
Addressing a news conference in Islamabad on Tuesday, he said Imran Khan is using delaying tactics to avoid facing his court cases.
The Special Assistant said everyone is equal in the eyes of law and no one should consider himself above law but Imran Khan evades accountability.
He said contrary to Imran Khan, PML-N leadership faced their cases on regular basis and successfully defended fake allegations against them.
Responding to a question regarding All Parties Conference (APC) on Thursday, he said all political parties should attend the conference and should not consider their personal interests above national interest.
