Army Chief Inducts Cutting-Edge Attack Helicopters

Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir inducted Z-10ME attack helicopters into the Pakistan Army Aviation during a visit to Multan Garrison, the military’s media wing announced Saturday. The sophisticated aircraft, equipped with advanced radar and electronic warfare capabilities, strengthens the army’s ability to conduct precision strikes day or night. Munir witnessed a firepower demonstration of the new helicopters at the Muzaffargarh Field Firing Ranges.

The COAS was also briefed on operational preparedness and training at Corps Headquarters. He expressed satisfaction with the high level of readiness and reaffirmed the army’s commitment to protecting the nation’s sovereignty.

Munir met with academics and civil society members, emphasizing national unity and civil-military cooperation to address security challenges and promote social harmony. He praised troops for their morale, professionalism, and combat skills, highlighting the army’s determination to maintain a decisive advantage in modern warfare. The Corps Commander Multan welcomed the COAS upon his arrival. The Z-10ME represents a significant advancement in the modernization of Pakistan Army Aviation, enhancing its battlefield responsiveness and ability to counter potential enemies.
