Leaders of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter today expressed profound appreciation for the recent statement made by Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff, General Syed Asim Munir, regarding the Kashmir dispute.

According to Kashmir Media Service, General Asim Munir delivered his remarks during the Defence and Martyrs Day ceremony at the General Headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi. ‘India’s illegal occupation of Jammu and Kashmir is not only a national problem but a regional and global problem,’ he said. ‘We salute the freedom struggle of the Kashmiri people and maintain that the establishment of sustainable peace in South Asia lies in the solution of the Kashmir issue.’ He reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to providing continued moral, political, and diplomatic support to the Kashmiri people until they achieve their self-determination.

APHC-AJK General Secretary, Advocate Pervez Shah, alongside senior leaders Mehmood Ahmed Saghar and Syed Faiz Naqshbandi, lauded General Asim Munir for his firm and resolute stance on Kashmir. They noted that his unwavering support has significantly uplifted the spirits of the Kashmiri people in their quest for self-determination.

The leaders praised General Asim Munir as a brave and principled figure whose clear and strong position offers hope and unity to the Kashmiri population. They expressed gratitude for his steadfast commitment, which reaffirms Pakistan’s dedication to the Kashmiri cause.
