A delegation of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC-AJK) Azad Jammu and Kashmir chapter, led by its Convener Ghulam Muhammad Safi, met with the Karachi Jamaat-e-Islami leadership at the Noor-e-Haq Institute, and discussed with it about October 27 anti-India rally in the city.

According to a Kashmir Media Service report on Tuesday, the delegation included Advocate Parvez Ahmed, Syed Ejaz Ahmed Shah, Abdul Hameed Lone, and Sheikh Abdul Majeed. The APHC-AJK delegation informed the JI leaders about the protest rally to be held in Karachi on October 27, which marks a Black Day, to condemn the ongoing Indian atrocities in occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

During the meeting, the current situation in occupied Jammu and Kashmir was discussed in detail, and emphasis was placed on the need for Muslim countries to play their role in resolving the Kashmir dispute.

The JI leadership stated that the Kashmir issue is their personal issue, and the party has contributed financially and practically to the liberation of occupied Kashmir. They assured that no stone will be left unturned in this regard in the future.

The JI leadership said that the party will participate actively in the protest rally on October 27 to demonstrate complete solidarity with the Kashmiri people. They made it clear that Jamaat-e-Islami will never abandon its Kashmiri brothers and will continue to extend all possible support until they achieve complete independence from India.

The APHC-AJK delegation thanked the JI leadership for accepting the invitation to participate in the October 27 rally and for acknowledging the party’s role and sacrifices for the Kashmir cause.
