APCA Quetta stages rally in support of its demand

APCA Quetta on Wednesday rallied and held a protest demonstration outside Quetta Press Club in support of its demand.

The protest rally under the aegis of All Pakistan Clerks Association district Quetta was taken out from the lawn of Quetta Metropolitan Corporation. Holding banner inscribed with slogans in support of its demands, the participants of rally marched through Anscomb Road, Kachari Road, Adalat Road and reached Quetta Press Club where a protest demonstration was held.

Addressing the protest demonstration, speakers demanded to increase the salaries of employees in proportion to inflation, withdraw reduction of leave encashment, remove discrepancies in house rent allowance of the employees, pay Rs10000 as medical allowance, provide health care facilities to all government employees, regularise the services of all contract employees, grant basic pay scale-V to all class four employees and grant upgradation to those employees whose up-gradations cases have not been considered yet. Demanding the authorities to address the charter of demand of All Pakistan Clerks Association, they said if the charter of demand of APCA was not acceded to, protest movement would be launched. Protest demonstration was addressed by Rehmatullah Zehri, President, APCA, Quetta and others.

Separately, All Pakistan Trade Union Defence Campaign on Wednesday staged a protest demonstration outside Quetta Press Club, demanding the authorities not to prioritise government institutions, pay outstanding dues to the employees of Pakistan Railway, increase pay and pensions in respect of all employees, including the employees of Pakistan Railways. Protest demonstration was addressed by Pir Muhammad Kakar, President, All Pakistan Trade Union Defence Champaign and others.
