QUETTA: President of All Pakistan Clerks Association (APCA) Balochistan Dad Muhammad Baloch on Wednesday called on the authorities to promote all stenographers of the province either against the position of Assistant Private Secretary or Superintendent before abolishing the posts of stenographers and subsequently changing its nomenclature to Assistant Computer Operator.
The APCA president said that Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo had accorded approval for upgrading the post of stenographer, but directives of the Chief Minister Balochistan have not yet been implemented. Being a main stakeholder, consultation with APCA Balochistan was essential before abolishing the posts of stenographers and changing the nomenclature of Stenographer to Assistant Computer Operator, said he.
