QUETTA: A seven-day anti-polio drive is commencing in 14 districts of Balochistan province from October 30.

According to a statement issued by the Emergency Operations Centre for Polio Eradication, Balochistan, 16 lac children below the age of five would be vaccinated during anti-polio drive to be commenced in 14 districts of the province from October 30.

Statement said that more than 2000 teams would participate in seven-day anti polio drive. Statement said that anti drive will be started after the presence of polio virus in flood nullahs and environment.
