On the directives of Sindh Minister for Anti-Corruption, Sardar Muhammad Bux Mahar, the Anti-Corruption Department has intensified its actions against corrupt officers.
In this regard, the Anti-Corruption Committee One, chaired by the Chief Secretary, made important decisions in its meeting. After the meeting, Chairman Anti-Corruption, Syed Zulfiqar Ali Shah, approved inquiries against officers of 11 departments, including the registration of 5 FIRs against officers of 4 departments. Additionally, approval was given for 16 open inquiries and comments were sought from 8 departments.
The Anti-Corruption authorities further stated that 2 cases were filed against Revenue officers, 1 against the Mirpurkhas Education Board, 1 against the Irrigation Department, and 1 against the Education Department officers.
The Chairman Anti-Corruption stated that the Minister for Anti-Corruption, Sardar Muhammad Bux Mahar, has directed that no corrupt officer in Sindh will be spared, and immediate action will be taken on receipt of complaints against them. Inquiries have been approved against officers of the Revenue, Education Boards, Irrigation, School Education, Municipalities, Livestock, Works Services, Food, Cooperative, and Labor Departments.
