President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry, met with the Chairman of the Azad Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission, Lieutenant General (Retired) Hidayat ur Rehman, at Kashmir House in Islamabad.

During the meeting, the Chairman presented the 2024 annual report to the President and briefed him on the commission’s performance and merit-based appointments.

On this occasion, the President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir highlighted the importance of the commission, stating that upholding merit is a crucial need of the time. He mentioned that candidates who pass the commission’s exams serve in various departments of Azad Kashmir, and therefore, transparency should be further improved.
