Adviser to the Prime Minister for Political, Public Affairs, National Heritage and Culture Engineer Amir Muqam has said that it is the national responsibility of literary persons to use the power of their pen to end ignorance and inculcate positive and constructive thinking among the masses.
He stated this during his visit to Pakistan Academy of Letters in Islamabad on Tuesday where he was warmly received by the Chairman PAL and senior officials of the Academy. Federal Secretary National Heritage and Culture Fareena Mazhar was also present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, the Adviser said that literary activities are indispensible for promotion of peace, tolerance and generosity among the people. He said that PAL should organize more literary activities to promote literature of the country of all national languages.
Advisor to Prime Minister also planted a sapling in the lawn of the Academy.
