ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Ali Amin Gandapur has been produced before the court of a local magistrate in Islamabad. A hearing on the threatening audio case is under way on Sunday and the Defence attorney Babar Awan has also reached the court. The police would request the court for Ali Amin Gandapur’s physical remand.
A day earlier, a court of judicial Magistrate-I in Dera Ismail Khan ordered the handing over of Mr. Gandapur to the Islamabad police. A case has been registered against the PTI leader at the Police Station Golra of the capital city under the provisions of terrorism and treason. In the said audio, Ali Amin Gandapur had threatened that if Imran Khan is arrested, Islamabad will be occupied and taken over. He had also threatened the Islamabad Police.
