AJK president, ex-PM vow to counter oppressive actions in occupied Kashmir

President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), Barrister Sultan Mehmood Chaudhry, held a detailed meeting with former AJK President and Prime Minister, Sardar Muhammad Yaqoob Khan, at Kashmir House, Islamabad.

According to a statement issued by the Presidential Secretariat, during the meeting, both leaders agreed to jointly counter Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s oppressive actions in occupied Kashmir at an international level, using the freedom base camp as a platform.

The leaders emphasized the need for all political parties in AJK to unite and expose India’s malicious actions both domestically and globally.

The leaders stressed the importance of effectively and robustly highlighting India’s atrocities and oppression in occupied Kashmir to the global community. They agreed that India’s actions must be confronted with a united front from AJK.

During the meeting, both leaders also discussed the political situation in AJK, matters of mutual interest, and other relevant issues.
