Muzaffarabad: In Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), local government elections will be held on September 28.

This was announced by Chief Election Commissioner AJK Justice (r) Abdur Rashid Sulehriya here in Muazaffarabad on Thursday. He said the local government elections will be held in all ten districts of the state simultaneously on party basis.

Nomination papers will be received from August 15 to August 22, while scrutiny will be held on August 23. Election symbols will be allotted on August 30.
