The government’s crackdown on smuggling continues as part of efforts to restore the national economy.

According to a report today, last week, government agencies seized 887 stockpiles of cigarettes, 364 rolls of cloth, and 0.266 million liters of Iranian oil from across the country.

Since September 1, 2023, a total of 13,471.5 metric tons of fertilizer, 3,789.64 metric tons of flour, 35,134.51 metric tons of sugar, and 4,389,840 stockpiles of cigarettes have been confiscated.

During the crackdown, 156,186 rolls of cloth and 18.22 million liters of Iranian oil were also seized.
