The infiltration of Afghan terrorists into Pakistan continues, with a growing number of Afghan nationals involved in terror activities within the country, security sources disclosed.
According to security sources, another Afghan terrorist has been identified in connection with a recent attack in Pakistan. On February 28, security forces eliminated fourteen terrorists during a raid in Ghulam Khan Kalay, among whom Afghan nationals were present.
Security officials highlighted that Afghan civilians entering Pakistan under the pretext of seeking medical treatment or education often become associated with Fitnah Al Khawarij. Many voluntarily join the group, further strengthening its presence in the region.
Authorities pointed to strong links between the Afghan interim government and terrorist organizations, including Fitnah Al Khawarij. Former commanders of Tehreek Taliban Afghanistan reportedly maintain close ties with these groups, raising concerns over Afghanistan’s role in fostering terrorism.
Defense experts underscored that the advanced weaponry in possession of Fitnah Al Khawarij indicates a collaboration between the Afghan Taliban and the group. They stressed that Afghanistan has become a hub for terrorist activities.
Experts urged the Afghan interim government to prioritize the welfare of its citizens instead of engaging in activities that threaten Pakistan’s security.
