Balochistan government spokesperson Shahid Rind today strongly criticized the provocative statements made by certain politicians about Balochistan.

In a statement, the spokesperson said that the comments made by the opposition leader, Omar Ayub Khan, regarding Balochistan were incorrect. He further added that such statements were contrary to reality and an attempt to mislead the public.

The spokesperson clarified as saying: “Notions regarding independence of Balochistan were merely rumours and propaganda. Balochistan is Pakistan and will remain so.”

Rind further stated that those spreading chaos and disorder in Balochistan are actually advancing a foreign agenda. He said that due to the flawed policies of the opposition leader Omar Ayub Khan and his party, terrorists have been given the opportunity to regain strength in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

He urged the opposition leader to visit Quetta instead of making remarks about Balochistan while sitting in Islamabad. The spokesperson stated that the opposition leader should engage in logical discussions with the government on the issue of Balochistan, rather than resort to spreading false statements on social media.

Concluding his remarks, the spokesperson said that Balochistan and Pakistan are inseparable.
