Jammu: Narendra Modi-led fascist Indian government has shifted 96 illegally detained Kashmiris lodged in different jails of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir to various jails in India.
According to a Kashmir media report, the detainees have been shifted from Kot Bhalwal jail in Jammu and other prisons in IIOJK to different jails in New Delhi, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh while the process to shift more is on.
Fifty-six detainees booked under the black law Public Safety Act (PSA) have been shifted from Kot Bhalwal jail to Indian jails. The other 40 prisoners have been moved out from other jails of the occupied territory including Srinagar central jail and Poonch district jail. It is to mention here that many top Kashmiri Hurriyat leaders have already been lodged in New Delhi’s Tihar jail for past several years.
Political experts and analysts say that the Modi regime’s main motive behind lodging the Kashmiri Hurriyat leaders and other detainees in different jails in India hundreds and thousands of miles away from their homes is to force them to give up their commitment towards the ongoing freedom struggle. However, they maintain that such Indian tactics have failed to subdue the Kashmiris’ freedom sentiment in the past and will meet the same fate in the future as well.
