QUETTA: Hameedullah Nasar, Coordinator, Emergency Operation Centre, Balochistan, has said that 885,000 children below the age of five would be administered anti polio drops during five-day-anti polio campaign launched the previous day in five districts of Balochistan.
Talking to media, including PPI here on Monday, Nasar said 3680 teams were taking part in the drive launched in Quetta, Pishin, Chaman, Killa Abdullah and Zhob districts of the province to administer polio drops to 885000 children below the age of five.
He said foolproof security arrangements had been made to provide security to polio teams during the drive, adding that personnel of police, levies and Frontier Corps (FC) had been deployed for the security of polio teams.
