Sindh government says so far 468 people have been died and 14978 injured in rain related incidents in the province.

In a statement, Sindh Minister for information Sharjeel Inaam Memon said over one point three million houses have been damaged, around one hundred thousand animals have also died in various areas of the province.

He said flash floods caused by rains have caused losses to agriculture on a large scale and crops over three million acres of the land in the province have badly been damaged.

He said overall 234 Tehsils and nine hundred eighty nine Dehs have been affected by rains.

He said rescue and relief operations are underway in affected areas and so far one thousand nine hundred and ten relief camps have been established in affected districts.
