ISLAMABAD:,,, A total of 446,097 illegal Afghans have been repatriated to Afghanistan so far as repatriation of illegal foreign nationals, including Afghans, to their homeland continued in a dignified and safe manner on Sunday.
In addition to other measures for the dignified return of Afghans to their country, transit camps equipped with all facilities have been established in various districts for their temporary accommodation.
One thousand one hundred fifty-nine illegal Afghan nationals returned to their country yesterday. So far, 446,097 illegal Afghans have been repatriated to Afghanistan. The government of Pakistan is facilitating the illegal Afghans in the repatriation process at the Torkham and Chaman borders.
It is pertinent to mention here that the Apex Committee of the National Action Plan in Nov decided to expel illegal foreign immigrants to their native countries and take strict action against their businesses and properties, constituted a task force to scrutinize and do away with fake identity cards and business activities.
Pakistan gave a last warning to all illegal immigrants in the country illegally to leave voluntarily before a Nov 1 deadline as the country was determined to go ahead with a plan to remove all undocumented immigrants after Nov. 1.
