A significant military campaign, Operation Ghazab lil-Haq, has resulted in substantial losses for the Afghan Taliban, with official figures indicating 435 operatives have been killed and more than 630 wounded.
The details were made public by the Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Attaullah Tarar, who shared the latest updates regarding the ongoing security operation on his official X social media account, according to a report by MOIB today.
According to the information released, security forces have dismantled 188 Taliban check posts and successfully seized control of an additional 31 during the extensive offensive.
The minister’s dispatch also confirmed heavy damage to the Taliban”s military assets, with a total of 188 tanks, armoured vehicles, and artillery pieces being neutralised.
The campaign further included a significant air component, with reports confirming that 51 separate locations across Afghanistan were effectively struck from the air by security forces.
