22,000 youth to get vocational training soon

QUETTA: Caretaker Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Ali Mardan Khan Domki, has said that vocational training of different sectors would be imparted to 22000 youth, including 7000 girls, under Prime Minister’s Youth Skill Development Program.

These views were expressed by him while talking to a delegation of Overseas Employment Promoter Association who called on him at Chief Minister’s Secretariat, Quetta on Friday under the leadership of Asad Keyani, Chairman, Overseas Employment Promoter Association. He said that the said program would remove poverty and provide an opportunity to youth to get employment.

He said that job opportunities were very limited in public sector departments, therefore, all youth could not be adjusted in public sector departments. Though constitution of the country had the provision to provide job opportunities to the youth yet employment did not mean providing employment in public sector departments only, said he, adding that skilled workforce was direly needed in national and international markets

On the occasion, Caretaker Minister for Finance and Revenue, Balochistan, Amjad Rashid was also present
