LARKANA: A 22-member foreign delegation from Italy and Japan visited ancient site of Mohenjo Daro Monday.

The delegation comprised 10 people from Japan and 12 from Italy. The distinguished guests went through the Great Bath and other cultural monuments. On this occasion, the local guide Irshad Solangi informed the foreign tourists of this world heritage site and its historical background. During the visit of the delegation of foreign tourists, security measures were tightened by the administration at the ancient site. The foreign delegation visited the Stupa, Great Bath and other cultural monuments.

The delegation included nine men and 13 women. On that occasion, the group leaders of the foreign delegation, told media that they were surprised to see the Mohenjo Daro because they saw a small Mohenjo Daro in the books but we saw a very huge Mohenjo Daro here today. They said that there had been enough observation by seeing the historical place and more information about the place had also been obtained.
