Hajj Flight operation commences from May 9

The Hajj Flight operation is commencing from May 9 and first fifteen flights will directly land at the Madinah Airport. However, most of the flights from May 24 to June 9 will land at the Jeddah airport. On the first day of the flight operation, 2160 intending pilgrims will reach Saudi Arabia through eleven flights. President approves retirement of Justice Shaukat Siddiqui

President Asif Ali Zardari Friday approved the issuance of notification of retirement of Justice Shaukat Aziz Siddiqui. The President approved the issuance of the notification in the light of the decision of the Supreme Court dated 22.03.2024. The retirement notification will be applicable from the date of sacking of Justice Shaukat Aziz Siddiqui on 30.06.2021. Mr Zardari gave approval to issuance of the notification under Article 195 of the Constitution. He also approved the withdrawal of Law and Justice Division notification dated 11.10.2018 about the removal of Justice Shaukat Aziz Siddiqui from the post of judge of Islamabad High Court.
