ISLAMABAD: The death anniversary of renowned musician Ustad Beebo Khan of Sindh was observed on Monday. His original name was Muhammad Ibrahim Qureshi. He was born in Shikarpur in 1904. Ustad Beebo Khan received his musical training from his father Ustad Gaman Khan, Ustad Mubarak Ali Khan and Ustad Murad Ali. PM directs to make track, trace system functional to prevent tax evasion

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has directed the authorities concerned to make the track and trace system fully functional in all sectors, including tobacco, cement, sugar, and fertilizer industries, to prevent tax evasion. Chairing a meeting regarding the track and trace system here in Islamabad on Monday, he decided to take measures against tax defaulters and tax evaders on an emergency basis. KP Govt launches online driving license renewal for expats

PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has fulfilled the long-standing demand of overseas Pakistanis by announcing an online driving license renewal facility for them. According to a notification issued by the office of the Inspector General of Police, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, all overseas Pakistanis will be required to submit a scanned copy of their passport, national identity card, expired driving license, recent medical fitness certificate, and fee challan to the concerned Embassy or High Commission through email. Court orders to produce PTI founder, Bushra Bibi on April 4

ISLAMABAD: A district and session court in Islamabad on Monday ordered to produce Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi on April 4. As per details, the session court judge Tahir Abbas Sipra heard the bail pleas and issued production orders for Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) founder Imran Khan and his wife. The PTI counsel Khalid Yousaf Chaudhary appeared before the court, where the court ordered superintendent Adiala Jail to present Imran Khan on April 4. HRCP calls for justice in suspected targeted killing of Hidayatullah Lohar

LAHORE: The Human Rights Commission of Pakistan (HRCP) on Monday called on the Sindh government to ensure that the murder of political activist Hidayatullah Lohar is investigated transparently and independently without any external pressure. HEDP 8th Steering Committee Reviews Progress

ISLAMABAD: HEC’s Higher Education Development in Pakistan (HEDP) project held its eighth Steering Committee (SC) meeting at the Higher Education Commission (HEC) Secretariat, Islamabad.
