14 people bitten by dogs in Larkana

LARKANA: As many as 14 people were brought to the Dog Bite Treatment and Vaccination Center here on Tuesday who were bitten by stray and pye dogs in a single day in and around Larkana.

The victims include 25-year Murad Ali, 19-years Mahmood Ali, 37-years Imam Ali son of Ghulam Umar, Yasin Bibi daughter of Zahoor Ali and others. The injured were brought individually by their relatives at the Chandka Medical College Hospital for anti-rabies vaccination and dressing of their wounds. They were allowed to go home after vaccination and treatment.

Meanwhile, one person Fahim Ahmed Qureshi died when his car collided with a truck on Miro Khan Road within the limits of Waleed Police Station. In another incident, 40-year-old Bagan Thahim died of electrocution in Balhreji village. His heirs said that Thahim was trying to install a Kunda connection from the 11000 KV high transmission line when he was electrocuted.
