ISLAMABAD:In the federal capital, 1126 people were screened during operations against illegal foreign nationals.
According to spokesperson of Islamabad police, 503 people had no documents of any kind. Action was taken against them under the relevant law and produced in the courts. They are on judicial remand and facing charges.
The spokesperson said 623 persons were released on presentation of approved identification documents. No untoward incident occurred during the entire process.
Meanwhile, twenty-six days are left for illegal foreign nationals to leave Pakistan.
These aliens will have to leave Pakistan by October 31 this year. Otherwise the law enforcement agencies will arrest them and ensure their deportation.
